Kerala bags Diamond State Awards for best state

The second IBN 7 Diamond state awards recognising human and social development efforts by the different states have been announced.

The award for the best big state has been won by Kerala for the second time in a row. The state also picked up awards for basic infrastructure, healthcare and environment .Goa walked away with the award for the best small state for the second time. Among the big states, Tamil Nadu received awards for water and sanitation and women empowerment and Chattisgarh for education and employment. Among small states Himachal pradesh won awards for women empowerment and employment.
